Global attention is focused on Europe, which the World Health Organization announced on Friday, 13 March, as the "new focus" of the "Covid-19" epidemic. With the increase in the number of injuries and deaths, European countries have resorted to tightening their preventive measures. In Spain, where the number of injuries exceeded 4,200 cases, including 120 deaths, the authorities declared a state of emergency, as did Portugal. In Paris, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and the Versailles were closed until further notice. Austria suspended flights with France, Spain and Switzerland, and imposed a stone on two towns. Belgium announced the closure of schools, cafes, restaurants, and nightclubs, and the banning of all gatherings.
